NOTW Rainbow =)

I really like how this turned out. So my little piggies got the same treatment:
This one was outside, other inside. I still haven't found the perfect pastel lavender though. This one is shimmery, I'd rather have a matte.
Purple: Nicole Kardashian: One Big Happy Fame-ily
Blue: Revlon Coastal Surf
Green: Essie Moijito Madness
Yellow: L'Oreal Tweet Me
Pink: Wet N Wild Megalast Tropicalia

NOTW -- I Need a Refresh-Mint

This is a polish from Wet N Wild's MegaLast brand, my second I've bought. As you can see from the pic, this polish isn't very "minty". In the bottle it looked like a blue/green mint. On my nails it looks like robin's egg blue. Makes me think of Tiffany blue too. Not that I've ever seen a real Tiffany's box haha.

I really like this color even though the name is misleading. Two coats worked out perfect & topped with my Revlon No Chip Top Coat (gonna invest in a pricier one when the bottle is finally empty.) My nail pics are always so sloppy looking, sorry bout that ladies. I think this color would be a good background for some vintage flowery looking nail art. I also thought about putting white crackle on top for a skies & cloud look.

What do you girls think of this color?

NOTW III

Colors Used:
Wet & Wild Meglast Tropicalia
Nicole Rainbow in the S-Kylie
Base coat: Sally Hansen Hard as Wraps Acrylic Gel
Top Coat: Revlon No Chip

I was very excited to finally use my newest Nicole color! It really is a rainbow of colors. I spot silver, blue, yellow, green, & pink. Some are smaller sprinkles others are bigger. Love it completely <3

The W&W...hmmm. I like bright pink color. This nailpolish also has a bigger flatter "Manicurve Pro Brush". It's my favorite brush of any brand polish. The only problem is W&W polish refuses to last for me. =(

I did one coat of w&w, covering it with only one coat of glitter on most nails. That was Monday. Wednesday at work 2 nails were bare by the end of the night. So to touchup, I skipped the pink. Just 2 coats of the Nicole (you can see it on my ring finger in the right photo). Last time I visited the mall Clarie's had a polish called Candy Shop. It basically looked like my nails but the convenience  of pink & the awesome glitter in one bottle. I'm not sure of the quality of their nail polish so I skipped over it.

The Sally Hansen works as a base coat. I can't tell if it strengthens my nails or not like the package claims it will. I'll update you ladies on that later

This weekend: finally gonna do a post about SPF! I am a lazy girly =(

NOTW II

Gripping my Revlon No Chip Top Coat =)
Nail of the Week #2. Go me lol. Not a very springy color but it is soft. This polish has no shimmer, sparkle or different shades in it. Totally matte gray. I would say it is on the lighter side (a pastel gray?). At Walmart I had this & L'Oreal's gray color in my hand. The NYC was cheaper & just a better color.  The shade is number 270 Sidewalkers. Recommended!

Any polish you're loving ATM?

NOTW I

When I paint my nails, it's always on Sunday night or Monday afternoon. Why? My days off are consistently Monday & Tuesday. That way, my nails stay chip free & neat looking my time spent outside of work. Therefore it's much more honest & realistic for me to do NOTW posts. Nail of the Week =) Here is my first:
Trust Fund Baby by Spoiled. So far, I've only seen this brand @ CVS. There's a huge selection of colors plus glittery ones (my faves!). This was my first foray into the Spoiled brand.

First off, this looked like a glittery & black polish. Not so. It is medium sized particles of magenta, neon blue, gold & black. I thought $1.99 was a great price for such a cute polish.

I did 1 base coat of Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in Black Out. Next, 2 coats of Trust Fund Baby. That's it! I really like the outcome & am looking forward to trying it over other colors to show of the black flecks also.

As anyone else tried Spoiled polish? I've been loving L'Oreals polishes lately.
